An intimate landscape is said “to put a frame around a small part of the world around us thereby drawing our attention to something we might not otherwise notice”. To me, by altering scale, we may address concepts such as physical size and proportion but also abstract properties such as strength, resilience and vulnerability, not to mention the metaphoric.
